I absolutely love skincare, but this is actually my first experience with a cleansing oil. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but because it was Shu Uemura, I knew it was going to work some magic. I applied the oil as directed to dry skin. I could actually almost feel my skin becoming softer as i massaged the oils in, because of the amazing powers of the 8 oils contained in this special little product. After I rinsed, all of the dirt, makeup, and impurities that were trapped in my skin washed away with the cleanser. My skin was left feeling a soft that was on a whole new level! And moisturized? My skin was moisturized absolutely p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y! I couldn't believe how amazing my skin felt. I didn't even feel like i needed moisturizer. It wasn't left feeling greasy, or oily like I was afraid it was going to be. Just soft, smooth, perfectly balanced, and beautifully clean. I would definitely recommend.

This cleansing oil smells great, and it seems to work well with my skin. (I'm currently pregnant, so my skin has been a bit more sensitive than usual, even with products that haven't ever bothered me before.) I definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of my pores and overall softness of my skin after using it. However, I was admittedly a little sad because it didn't entirely remove my eye makeup (non-waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and glittery eye shadow). There were a few small smudges and glitter left over after meticulously massaging it in and rinsing, so I think it would be most effective to either use eye makeup remover or to follow it up with a foaming cleanser as part of a double-cleanse.

I really liked this cleansing oil. It felt very luxurious when I applied it to my skin. It removed all my make up instantly without leaving my skin stripped or dry. My skin felt soft, smooth and had a clean glow that I loved.

I use shu uemura cleasing oil only a couple of times and I didn't get any results. Maybe I need to use it for a longer time, I didn't like the texture and it irritated me when I applied it, my skin was sensitive to its formula.

The shu uemura cleansing oil is a wonderful cleansing oil that leaves the skin incredibly soft, the cleansing oil contains 8 oils including jojoba, ginseng panax root and camellia oil. The oils are too nourish and moisturize the skin without stripping or drying it out. The cleansing oil had a light fragrance that disappeared after use. Definitely recommend the shu uemura ultimate cleansing oil.

a very solid cleansing oil that isn't too thick and is very silky soft on the face. It takes off my stubborn waterproof mascara and I feel confident that I am getting a thorough cleanse of my face.

I received the Shu Uemura Ultimat8 Sublime Beauty Cleanser for free to try, in exchange for my honest feedback. I am 40yo with dry skin and most cleansers leave my face feeling tight and dry. Although they clean, they strip my face of any natural moisture, which contributes to my dryness. This one is different. It's a silky smooth oil that makes my skin feel very moisturized and supple. It feels clean and fresh, but not tight. The Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil is definitely a product I'm keeping in my rotation!

I have never been a fan of oil cleansers, mainly because of the idea that I have of them. I always assumed that they would be oily and cause me to break out. But that is not the case I have learned. So the pros for me: I like how smooth it is. Very light weight. It's not oily. Absorbs quickly into skin. My skin feels super soft. The cons: Does not lather up. Not sure if I am getting my skin cleansed. I know it's not supposed to lather, but that for me is a good clue that it's working. But overall, I'm happy that I now know that cleansing oils do not leave your skin feeling oily!

I initially loved this product! But I have sensitive skin.. I was able to use this sample for 2 nights. The first night my skin felt amazing! Soft, Smooth, and just wonderful! The second night, my face was starting to burn a bit. I rinsed it off but in the morning my cheeks were red and inflamed. It went away the next day without any worries. This product is amazing and I truly recommend for non sensitive skin. Day 1 I felt like I was getting a facial and the smell was so relaxing!!
