I have never been a fan of oil cleansers, mainly because of the idea that I have of them. I always assumed that they would be oily and cause me to break out. But that is not the case I have learned. So the pros for me: I like how smooth it is. Very light weight. It's not oily. Absorbs quickly into skin. My skin feels super soft. The cons: Does not lather up. Not sure if I am getting my skin cleansed. I know it's not supposed to lather, but that for me is a good clue that it's working. But overall, I'm happy that I now know that cleansing oils do not leave your skin feeling oily!

I initially loved this product! But I have sensitive skin.. I was able to use this sample for 2 nights. The first night my skin felt amazing! Soft, Smooth, and just wonderful! The second night, my face was starting to burn a bit. I rinsed it off but in the morning my cheeks were red and inflamed. It went away the next day without any worries. This product is amazing and I truly recommend for non sensitive skin. Day 1 I felt like I was getting a facial and the smell was so relaxing!!

I received this product for free as a sample. I hadnt tried many cleansing oils before this, but the ones I did try were very oily (to be expected right?) but this one. This one first and foremost removes makeup like a charm. Secondly, it rinses off way easier than any other oil product Ive used. And most importantly. It doesnt leave any residue and leaves your skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I am truly amazed by this product and would recommend that everyone try it out. I will definitely be purchasing this product.

This cleanser left my skin clean and feeling fresh. It removed all traces of makeup and pretty much cleared my skin. It didn't leave a tacky feeling behind or that tight feeling. Nor the best but it did its job and was effective.

I love facial cleansing oils and this one is superior. I dont wear a out of makeup so I dont really double cleans but this just by itself removes everything and leaves my skin feeling supple and not at all tight.

This cleansing oil is the best Ive ever used. It literally melted away my makeup! I barely used any at all and it removed a whole face of makeup. It was scent free as well.

This was my first time using the Shu Uemeura brand and I was very impressed. Although this was a small sample that I recvieved I definitely felt its effects. I found the cleansing oil really easy to use and had a very pleasant scent. It left my skin feeling fresh, soothed, and most of all totally cleansed.

I used this product & after using it my face became very oily. I dont generally use oil based products for this reason but it does work, would recommend if you dont already have very oily skin.

I was fortunate to receive this sample as a gift from @thisisbutterly. I have always been curious about the cleansing oils available so this was a great way to try it. @shuuemura is a luxury brand that is so good for your skin. This particular item the ultime8 sublime beauty cleansing oil has so many benefits for your skin that I was really looking forward to using it. Sadly, I was not a fan. I am just so used to using a traditional facial cleanser. It seemed very runny and although my skin felt soft after using it, I almost wanted to wash my face again. I know that some double wash but again, not for me. I really enjoyed this cleansing oil sample. It took all my makeup off and didn't leave a greasy or dry feeling to the skin. I always double cleanse when I use an oil cleanser first but this one actually felt nice right after, almost like I didn't need to cleanse with another product. This is more of a luxury product but it really does work well.
