This cleansing oil is amazing. I have tried MANY MANY different cleaning products and nothing has really made me feel the way this cleansing oil has. I used to use the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, which was nice, but when I used this product, my face became soft like never before. I am extremely lazy and never used makeup remover, and now, I feel great knowing that my makeup is being removed AS I cleanse my face. That's awesome! My daughter, who has eczema, also uses this product and nothing has worked like this. Her face is hydrated and smooth afterwards, without any stinging, and she is able to apply her moisturizer afterwards. This is an awesome oil and I can't recommend it ENOUGH! Wish the large size were a bit less expensive, though.

I have used the sample for this product and am so pleased with the results. Shu Uemura makes the best oil cleansers and this one in particular smells light and heavenly. Just a push can be used for the entire face and nicely removes all the sunblock and eye make-up I wear. (If you wear lip stick, foundation, etc, maybe 2 pushes will do the trick.) My face is much brighter now that I started incorporating Shu's oil cleanser in my daily regimen. I only with these weren't so pricey.. but a 450ml bottle would probably last 6 months so it's ok!

This product was recommended when I visited Shu Uemura store in Tokyo. The make-up artist said it was the best he had ever seen, and he was right! I still prefer removing waterproof mascara with a separate eye makeup remover, but the cleansing oil is extremely effective in removing makeup. It washes off easily with water and my skin feels very soft and moisturized afterwards. It also works as a facial massage oil while cleansing the face at the same time. The large bottle is a bit pricey but it last for months. It is worth it.

I have been using the "pink" bottle oil and it's amazing already - I have big pores and it really makes my pores look smaller and my skin got smoother every time after I use it. And this time, I decided to try this ultime8 because reviews all say it's amazing. I got one bottle at its Thanksgiving sale - and I absolutely fell in love with it! The reviews are real! It's just that good - it truly removes all traces of either the foundation or the tint moisturizer light foundation I use - I mean it's just gone on my face! After use my skin got very soft and looks full of energy. I also have been using another brand cleansing oil for almost 9 years now, which is advertised as the NO.1, well - true, it is good, not a lie, but the result is no where getting close to Ultime8, because sometimes after I cleaned with that another brand oil and use cotton pad to put lotion on my face, I still could see tiny yellow leftover from the foundation on cotton pad. But not ultime8 - I don't see any leftover trace of any make up on there! It's just that awesome! I stock up some "pink" bottle ones on the sales event, but next time, I'm definitely going for this ultime8. I just wish the price of it would be better.

I bought this about a month ago. I have super dry skin & have tried many cleaners that claim to moisturize. No luck. Either stripping or too greasy & then I break out. So far this has been perfect for my skin. I do still put on a moisturizer but together it has kept me from being flaky.

This cleansing oil leaves my face very soft. It also does double duty in removing waterproof mascara.

After a week later after using this oil, I felt something was going wrong. I found several white heads on both cheeks, but I stayed with this oil. Because several reviewers wrote down that Shu uemura cleansing oil cleared up their acne. However, OMG, after a week later, hundreds of white heads covered my whole face, suddenly. The only one thing that I changed among my skin care was cleansing oil. I am sure that this oil was the cause. I spent a lot of money and time to get rid of white heads. Now, I am looking my face reflected in the mirror and this make me upset, so I decided to write a review. I spent $80 to buy Shu uemura oil, I spent more than $400 to cure white heads and I spent a lot of time on controlling white heads. Do not believe advertisements.

Ultime8 is great. I had never used a cleansing oil before and received sample with recent purchase. It is amazing. I followed the instructions in video as not sure how to use. I've never had a cleanser make that big of a difference. My skin is smoother, dewy and it is freezing out. I tend to get blotchy, ruddy and flaky in the winter but not now. Leaves skin ready for moisturizer. The pores on my nose are definitely smaller too.

I had come across the cleansing oil when it first launched but I was so skeptical given my tendency to breakouts and mileas. And I had always used a separate eye makeup remover but never really found one that would remove stubborn mascara or liner (especially under the eyes). Fast forward to my recent trip to Asia when my mother recommended the cleansing oil. She said it cleanses her face and does not give her any breakouts, etc. So I gave it a go and OMG! was I amazed! I now use the sublime cleansing oil to remove makeup - I use about one and one-half pumps and gently massage it over my face and neck, and using my ring fingers I gently massage my eyes paying attention to my lashes. A rinse with warm water and all make up is gone. I do use a sponge (it helps with under eyes). I do follow-up with another cleanse, i.e. a 2 part cleanse routine using my creamy cleanser (optional or you can use the oil again if you want). I do avoid my eyes when using the creamy cleanser. There are other cleansing oils out there but I find this to be the best value (a bottle has lasted me well over half a year and still going). It does its job and I've not gotten any skin troubles from it.
