I worked as a cosmetics executive so I am extremely picky. So when I traveled to Tokyo it was my mecca. I jumped into Shu Uemura because, besides eyelash bars, we don't have it in the states anymore (at least none that I'm aware of) so I was excited to get some stuff. This was recommended to me by one of the sales girls because I was going to get the basic oil and she promised me I wouldn't be sorry if I upgraded. Wow, she was right and then some! After a week, my skin was in a healthy state like I have never seen it. Even, soft, smooth, and visibly glowing. I'm 31 and I hit that 30 year old dull skin zone and this brought it back to life. I am now looking into the skincare since obviously my skin clicks with Shu. So happy! Take the plunge and get this.

This thing broke me out bad time. It cleanses well, takes off make-up and leaves my skin supple but i wish it were compatible with my skin...

I've been using ultime8 ever since it became available. It is quick & easy & thorough. Gets my skin gently clean & glowing. Prior to ultime8 I used other Shu Uemura cleansing oils & so did my 31 year old daughter. Now we both use ultime8. I will be 70 in February & my skin looks really good. I take care of my health which matters as well. This

I've used DHC cleansing oil for years and never thought I'd switch, but I tried this after reading all the good reviews, and now I'm never switching back! The smell is amazing, the texture is like washing your face with the nectar of the gods and it really gets rid of all eye makeup, even waterproof mascara and liner.

I ADORE this cleanser. Never makes me feel dry. It’s the best. I used Tatcha up to this point. No more. This will be in my skin care forever! I am an older, dry skinned woman and keeping my skin clean and moisturized is a must. Removes my eye makeup so easily without rubbing too hard! Many cleansing oils dry my skin out. Not this one. I love it! thank you!

I bought this product a week ago and am already falling in love with it. It is light, non-greasy and cleanses gently. Would certainly repurchase and recommend to friends and family

Being honest, cleansers do not stay on the skin long enough to have much of an effect. As long as it doesn't strip the skin, they all are about the same. But the aroma in this oil is worth the extra money. I also own the Phyto-Blanc and Anti-Oxi, and while I love the way they all smell, this one is my favourite.

Helps balance my skin. My skin either breaks out or dries out with other cleansers (including so-called pH balanced ones), but this one does not. Thoroughly cleanses skin (no trace of waterproof eyeliner/mascara) and makes it feels soft. Does not sting. I do not normally write reviews, but this product makes me a loyalist. No need to double cleanse (tried it and it was too much for my skin). This is all the cleanser you need. The big bottle is worth every penny 'coz it lasts a long way. The only cleanser for me!

I am in my 70th year and everyone remarks on the quality of my skin, even my beautician. I will not use any other product and recommend this to anyone of any age.
