Have used this curler for more than a decade. I can’t even use others, they don’t fit in my hand or around my eyes like my beloved Shu. Gives a soft bend and full fan to my lashes, never pinches. I buy 2-3 at a time, I don’t ever want to not have one on hand.

I was totally skeptical after opening my new Shu uemra eyelash curler--it seemed rather flimsy and unsubstantial--not at all what I was expecting after reading dozens of rave reviews. After one use, I am completely SOLD! This thing is AMAZING!! It's truly better than any other curler I've tried. I'm not sure why--it looks and feels like your typical drugstore variety eyelash curler, but it's not the same. Try it--you won't be sorry!!!!

I have very short blonde eyelashes and therefor have never bothered using an eyelash curler in my life. After ready so much about the Shu Uemra curler in so many magazines and seeing it was the "must-have" product I decide to give it a shot. I am obsessed!!! It's my favorite new toy to play with. I didn't even think it was possible for my eyelashes to ever curl!

I adore this product. However, I would really like if there was an option to purchase more pads vs having to buy a whole new curler. It is *so* wasteful! I really urge this company to become more aware of the waste factor. Amazing results, unfortunate that avoiding unnecessary waste is not more of a priority.

It was good that Shu Uemura finally relented & included an extra silicon pad with this expensive item. However, it still seems absurd that, after the 2 pads are worn out, we have to purchase a new eyelash curler. So wasteful in our ecologically compromised world. Why not just sell refill silicon pads forever after someone purchases the original curler?

The fact that the don’t make replacement refills of the rubber “blade” is mind-boggling! It’s a five star lash curler but I would give it zero stars if I could because of this issue. Honestly this is my favorite lash curler, especially for my small, hooded eye shape but I can’t justify throwing another piece of metal into a landfill every few months. It comes with ONE refill so it’s basically a disposable eyelash curler. Someone make this make sense in 2022 with climate change and science and technology. Honestly, I like it so much that it’s not the price! I would pay the same price for a few refills if they made it but I just can’t imagine throwing away a perfectly good eye lash curler every few months because a company refuses to listen to its customers on such a simple issue. It’s irresponsible. Stop buying this thing and wasting resources!

After trying a lot of different ones, this is the best curler for makeup artists, adapts to every type of eye and curls beautifully!

OMG, this eyelash curler is simply amazing! It curls the entire bed of eyelashes evenly with just a couple of pumps, the curls last the entire day! No pinching, no left out patches of lashes uncurled. It works so well that you just need a light coat of mascara to get the almost false lash effect. I do have longer lashes, so they look perfect after I curl them, changes the look of the eye. What craftsmanship and excellence in product! Everyone should have this tool if they are after fantastic lashes, could say enough about Shu Uemura curler, and for the price, this is just the best investment you'll make for the eyes looking great!

So disappointed that my favorite Eyelash curler isn’t the same quality as before. I’ve ordered this over and over for years but now it is comparable to a $3 drugstore curler.

This is the best curler for asian eyes. It gets ALL the lashes and curls them perfectly. I love that each curler comes with a replacement pad.
