Eyelash Curler W

Thought I’d try this new “W” version. It does nothing for my lashes. When squeezed, it goes so far down almost like there’s no rubber pad. I don’t know why this was invented

I've used the original Shu Uemura eyelash curler in the past, and was excited to try this model once mine broke. Unfortunately, it did not work anything like the original. The tool doesn't grip the lashes tightly when curling and the middle of my lashes are always left flat while the ends bend upward. Because I have to squeeze the tool really hard to get any type of curl, the pad has already worn down. I also don't get why there aren't any refill pads for purchase! If the tool was that great, you wouldn't have to replace it once the pad has worn down... not to mention how bad it is for the environment. With the original, I got refills from a 3rd party and it made it last years longer than it would have if I threw it away after the original pads wore down. Lastly, if you are in the US, you will have issues with their delivery service Uni Uni and Shu Uemura isn't responsive at all.
