It changed my beauty routine! No more overcompensating for dry skin or makeup residue. No more breakouts or oily skin that needed treatment. I could concentrate on using products to help my wrinkle free skin stay that way. And I no longer had to hide uneven or blemished skin with makeup. I thought I had bad skin until I started using Shu Cleansing oils under the idea that oil removes oil. Amazing! People said my skin glowed. I stopped worrying about what I looked like without makeup. I got into hair and makeup artistry because I was always trying to learn more to cover up what I thought was missing! Turns out I only needed this all along. I was already a fan since early 2000's of the eyelash curler (best ever), and a convent of the hair line when our salon started carrying the hair care. I figured I couldn't go wrong with the skin care, and haven't looked back since!

I first tried the cleansing oils seven years ago, against everything I ever knew about cleansing my oily, breakout prone skin. I was desperate and just wanted good skin. I was amazed! My skin is clean! With an oil!? Crazy, right!? My skin is never dry and breakouts are never happening. I love love love! You may need to try a couple different formulas to find the cleansing oil right for you, but you will be so glad when you do. Seriously the best stuff ever!

Oil cleansing is a best way to take off the makeup or dust from the face. It dissolves in water perfectly and one won't feel oily at all. Perfect for daily use, efficiently clean up the pores as well as any residual make-up. Left with a fresh and moisture feeling.

My favorite thing about this product is its effectiveness. Its ability to remove even the most waterproof makeup and improve the quality and texture of the skin at the same time makes this one of the best cleansing oils ever!! Love it. I will never use another cleansing oil if it is not shu. It is worth every penny.

Contacted Shu Uemura to confirm a basic manufacturing timeframe via batch code. Despite being the manufacturer, they repeatedly redirected to a third-party retailer who does not hold this information and failed to address the question. This leaves product freshness unverifiable, which is concerning for a time-sensitive skincare product. Disappointing lack of transparency.

Ultime8 cleansing oil is superb at removing my makeup, including eye makeup, plus any other grime that has been attracted to my face during the day. It leaves my skin moisturized without leaving a greasy residue or causing breakouts like other oil cleansers I have tried. Really nothing else I have ever purchased, for facial cleansing, has performed as well as Ultime8!!

I haven't received this yet as they won't deliver when i am not at home. In year 2026, we have to receive the delivery by hand. It is extremely ridiculous and i would not order them if i knew it. If you are working or going out often, it might be hard to get items from Shu Uemura.

I purchased two bottles of this makeup remover. When I opened the first bottle, I felt a bit confused because it was only about four-fifths full. At the time, I assumed the bottle was just larger and that the actual amount was correct. However, today I opened the second bottle and found that it was completely full. That’s when I realized the first bottle was likely defective or not filled properly. I should have compared the two bottles right after receiving them and contacted customer service sooner, but I was careless. Still, I’m very disappointed that this issue happened.
