Well of course I am mostly embarrassed that I fell prey to all the glowing reviews out there, madly touting this eyelash curler as the second coming. So I spent a ridiculous amount of money and purchased it and have found it to work no better (nor keep a curl longer) than my old and insanely cheap drugstore eyelash curler, for which replacement pads are readily (and inexpensively) available. I am Caucasian with rounded eyes, medium-long but thin eyelashes (thank you RapidLash) which grow downward, so I definitely "need" an eyelash curler. (and yes, I am mortified saying I "need" an eyelash curler when there are people without access to food, shelter, clean water) Unfortunately, since I purchased this curler it appears a new mini curler is now offered and that probably would have been a better choice. I recall years ago a Filipina makeup artist coming out with a similar curler and I always regretted not buying one of those then -- I love the way you can focus on one section of lashes and not push against your eyelid trying to get them to fit into this long, shallowly curved standard curler. Oh well. Money wasted.

I just wanna say I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY OTHER EYELASH CURLER in the rest of my life. This little tool easily opens your eyes up and makes the eyelash stay curler all day long even with heavy mascara on. Highly recommended to every girl.

I have tried so many other eyelash curlers and this is my favorite. Never feels bulky and so easy to use. Love this!

it curls perfectly and it doesnt creat lumps or awkward fold. Combine it with a little bit of hot air from the hair dryer and voila, your beautiful eyes are revealed.

I have very straight eyelashes that go straight down, so it's difficult for me to find an eyelash curler that will curl them all day long. The shu uemura curler is perfect for my eyelashes because it does just that quite beautifully.

This lash curler works great on all eye sizes, mine just happpen to be large with straight lashes....It gives them a wonderful curl that last and it never pinches me. This will be the only brand of lash curler I ever need to buy, after trying a few others I gladly came running back to this one..I will purchase 2 when I make my next purchase !

The best eyelash curler ever!! mine stayed with me 8 years!!! and today was his time to replace it so today im buying a new one :) LOVED IT!

I've enjoyed using this eyelash curler for some time, but I've gone through both pads and need new ones. Why don't you sell them? I can see that others have the same complaint about this product. I won't buy a new eyelash curler just to get new pads, if that's the motive behind not selling the replacements. I won't recommend a product that is useless after the pads are worn out.

Have been using this eyelash curler for about 10 years. Love it!! Have tried different brands but always go back to Shu Uemura.

I’ve heard rave reviews about this eyeblash curler for years. Finally bought it on sale- it’s quite actually the most inefficient eyelash curler I’ve ever used. AVOID.
