Not worth buying. I received this product for free for testing purposes. It's a very lightweight cleansing oil, like water, so personally for me it's a bit harder to work with, but again that's just me. When I tried this I didn't have a lot of makeup on but I did see it "melt" when applied. It washed off really easily. My face didn't feel any different than if I used an inexpensive drugstore cleanser though . I went with regular soap and water to see if it really cleansed everything.... Nope. Still had makeup and dirt washing off. I don't wear heavy makeup so it's disappointing if it couldn't even fully remove a light coverage amount

I had a sample of Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil and maybe if you had the full size product there would be a different outcome. Overall I found this product incredibly oily. I could not even hold it in my hands to apply to my face. It just leaked out of my hand and all over the floor. It made a huge oily mess. This is not what I was expecting in a cleansing oil. Compared to other similar products they are less viscous and easier to apply. The scent was fine. As far as the effectiveness once I was able to get some of the product on my face it was smooth and applied evenly. I had no negative impact from the product use. But I was not interested in continuing using the remaining product that did not spill out. I threw out the remaining product because it just was not worth the effort and cleaning up after use. Again - if you have the full size there may be a different outcome but using the sample size was very difficult.

This is probably the smallest sample I have ever had to review. After using twice I can say it is not worth the price. There are much cheaper alternatives that do the same thing. It does remove makeup well and doesnt leave my skin dehydrated, but Ive only used it twice so I cant say for sure.

I was pleasantly surprised of how much I enjoyed this product. I was skeptical at first and was worried that it would be too oily, but it's great. It makes my face feel so soft and smooth and not oily at all. It makes my face look and feel amazing. If it wasn't so expensive, I would continue to add it to my skincare routine.

I was lucky enough to get to try shu uemura ultime8 beyond cleansing oil.This oil did a wonderful job of getting rid of all traces of makeup while leaving my skin very soft,clean,and nourished.I would like to be able to purchase this item because it left my skin clean and feeling luxurious.Thank you Butterly for letting me try this product.

I am not impressed by this cleansing oil. It can remove my makeup and nothing else special. It cannot remove the waterproof mascara. I probably won't buy this again.

I absolutely love this cleanser. It removes makeup with ease. It leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and looking like you have a healthy glow. It doesnt leave an oily residue. Just super soft clean skin.

this cleanser is amazing! when you apply, it feels really soft & calming. after the rinse, my skin look really hydrated & refreshed. I will definitely be purchasing in the future.

There were supposed to have samples and a makeup bag for orders more than $100, but there were only two cleansing oils and nothing else promised were provided with the package

Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil removed my makeup and left my face moisturized. My face didn't breakout or have any kind of negative effect. I really liked this product.
