I didnt have makeup on, just sunscreen and BB cream, when I tried this oil cleanser out. Opened the pouch and poured some in my palm and started to rub my face with it. Slowly lathered up, the lather was so silky and creamy, that I havent tried anything like it. I rinsed off with warm water. My skin was happy! It was hydrated and soft, plump and dewy. It took off the BB cream and the sunscreen leftovers just like nothing! I really wish that they sent me a full size from this sample, I could use it, thats for sure! But, I will look into it and buy a full size because its really necessary for me. For me when we are talking about double cleansing, this type of cleansers are better fit than the balms. Somehow for me its easier to work with, easier to spread on and dont need that much work to remove the makeup or whatever.

A little goes along way with this cleansing face oil. A tad on a cotton ball lift my skin fresh and dewy feeling like silk. Lightweight non greasy i feel in love with it.

After using this for a few days, I am in high heaven! This cleansing oil is amazing! The texture is just right; the scent smells wonderful; and my face feels as smooth as a baby's bottom! My pores are cleaned and it feels completely brand new! Definitely worth purchasing!

This by far is the best cleansing oil I've ever tried! It's takes makeup off better then the wipes. Makes my skin feel super soft without making my skin feel oily. My pores appear to look smaller. I would definitely recommend this product!

I've had the pleasure of trying this brand once before in a sample and I really liked it so I was very excited when I found out I was chosen to sample this amazing oil cleanser. I always double cleanse but don't typically use a cleansing oil. I absolutely love this! Not only does it have a unique, sort of herbal- earthy type of scent but it removes my stubborn eye makeup like a dream! Because I have dehydrated skin that can sometimes lean towards dry, I experimented with using the oil cleanser then a regular face cleanser from a popular Japanese brand and just rinsing the oil cleanser off and gently towel drying my face. When used alone, I didn't notice much of a difference except that my face felt much more moisturized and soft. There really wasn't any more makeup or dirt left over than after double cleansing. Now, that's just me. Someone else might be different and experience an oily feeling or that their face isn't clean. When I use it I really take my time, massaging in tiny circles all over my face then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water so I don't feel oily nor does my face feel dirty.

A little bit goes a long way when it comes to the Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil, even a small amount of this cleansing oil easily removes my makeup and cleanses my face. It does such a good job, that I dont even need to double cleanse, when using this product. I have naturally oily skin, but this doesnt make it greasy or anything, its perfect! It does burn a little if you get it in your eyes, so I try not to put the oil too close, but that can easily happen with any face product. The texture of this oil is just the right consistency, not too thick, and not too drippy. It easily attaches to the skin and disappears as you rub it in, giving your face a well-needed layer of hydration. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth after just one wash. I would highly recommend it!

This oil had a very pleasant and relaxing scent to it and it softened and nourished my skin beautifully, however, the little sample size barely dispersed any. I couldn't get hardly any on the cotton ball and had to use Q-Tips instead. Very inconvenient but other than that the product removed my makeup smoothly and gently and I will certainly purchase again.

This was my first time trying Shu Uemura Ultime8 cleansing oil and it cleansed my face while moisturizing at the same time. It took all my makeup off and cleaned away the dirt and oil to reveal smooth and cleansed facial skin. I recommend this facial oil to anyone who wears makeup and wants an amazing cleanser.

Got this product in the mail. I tried it and noticed it was very hard to use. Like it didn't want to spread around your face then you would dump it out and nothing was there so it felt like I was using a lot of cleanser. My face felt really oily I actually didn't feel like it was clean my face felt oily and I used my regular face wash then my face felt fine with using another cleanser. I unfortunately wasn't impressed because I was excited to try this

I received this product in exchange for my honest review.. This oil is great for many reasons. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling clean and renewed. I use it at night time to help rid dirt and makeup from that day. It has been wonderful so far and I recommend to others!
