Its longevity and the curl is not fake looking - you can manipulate this curler to look like a very natural curl.

My favorite thing about this product is that it simply WORKS. I get perfect even curled lashes every time I use it and that's amazing.

The only eye lash curler I've tried that works on my difficult eyelashes. And definitely not as painful to use on my small eyes as other curlers tend to be b/c they're too big.

This is the only eyelash curler I will ever use! I have tried many brands and none compare. I'm not sure if it is the shape of the curler or the rubber padding, but it always gives my lashes the perfect curl that lasts.

I've been using this curler for 4 years now and I will not go back to any curler ever again. This curler is my most important beauty tool I own. I'm Japanese, with mid-length natural lashes and I have Asian woman ask me all the time how I get my lashes to curl like they do. Some people have even asked me if I have fake eyelashes in --- when all I had on is 2 coats of mascara and a curl from Shu before and after application. One time I forgot to pack my curler and ran into a beauty store and bought their store brand curler which they said was "modeled after Shu Uemura's curler". The curler looked cute but didn't do ANY justice to the real thing. You can't replicate this curler any where else. It comes with an extra curling pad, which I recommend switching out at your 6-month mark. This curler will last you over a year. BEST CURLER FIND EVER.

it is so easy to use and leaves a nice tight upright curl.

It curls up to the edges of my eye lashes. Also noticed that I don't have to hold the handle down as long for it to give me a nice curl
