The rubber cushion is the best. Honestly all we need to get is the cushion refills but they dont sell it individually... of course. I've tried other well known brands like shiseido but it doesnt work as well. The shu rubber is a perfect balance between firm and soft that it curls ur lashes easily and without any harsh angles.

My eyelashes are normal length and VERY straight. I used to use the other brand until I discovered these eyelash curlers! The skin on my eyelids never get pinched, the tension/pressure is soft...yet my lashes get curled.
