I have short, sparse Asian eyelashes that point downward. Prior to using Shu Uemura's eyelash curler, I had always been frustrated because other eyelash curlers pinched my eyelids and pulled out what little eyelashes I do have. Despite the agony, I was never able to get the desired curl nor do the curls last very long. Ever since discovering Shu Eumura's eyelash curler, I've been a loyal fan. Buy it-you will achieve the perfect lasting curl with ease. Well worth your money.

This is the only eyelash curler that doesn't pinch my eyelids and doesn't leave that "L" shape to my lashes. The curve of the curling pad gives my lashes a beautiful curl all while looking natural.

This is the best eyelash curler in the world, I had mine for 13 years years. Unfortunately, they don't make extra the silicone insert, but the sishedo ones on amazon fit perfectly. Perfect for stubborn straight/downward lashes. The curl stay all day without heat.

Bought the gold version when the Pokémon collab was out and it did not come with an extra refill like the others normally do. I buy a new eyelash curler from Shu Uemura every year and decided to get the pikachu curler while it was being sold and was disappointed to find that it did not come with a refill pad like the regular silver curler does. The curler itself lasts me forever, but it was nice to have that extra pad after using a while.

After hearing about this curler for years, I finally bought one. Doesn't open wide enough. Because it doesn't open widely, it also doesn't have much tension to close it once your eye lashes are properly positioned. I kept wondering if mine was defective until I started asking around and readin the low-ranked comments on here. Waste of money.

This is my favorite eyelash curler and have I been using it daily for years! I recently tried the Shiseido eyelash curler hoping to have an alternative. Big mistake! That eyelash curler pinched like no other(it was horrible!!). I very quickly returned to this classic, which does not pinch and curls the eyelashes oh so well!

love it. i have a graveyard of these bc i cannot bear to throw em out. i need my gold one back tho.
