Not magnetic :(
The refill of foundation is amazing, I love Shu Uemura’s makeup quality, but this case surprised me, it’s not magnetic. I had to glue refill in place or it was really loose inside and pop out easily. Case is beautiful but I didn’t expect to glue it. I thought it would be easier.
