We are grateful that many makeup artists choose to use shu uemura products when working with their clients and we have had the privilege of assisting many talented professionals in the beauty industry by providing discounted shu uemura products for use in their work. As a professional makeup artist, we invite you to enjoy a substantial 40% discount on shu uemura purchases made online, up to $500 suggested retail price, from january 1st through june 30th, 2012. Shop as often as you like to order all your favorite products.

Proof of Profession

Please provide one of the following:

Updated agency validated composite card or agency Web address with link to your work (you must fill out the agency portion above if you plan to submit this as proof of profession).
Valid union card with photo ID and the name and contact of a union representative.
Professional portfolio including at least five (5) tear sheets with legible name credit. Majority of the tears must be from the past three years. Please provide the name of the publication, the issue date and name of editor or photographer you worked with. Fashion tears shot at a distance (torso or full body) that do not feature the models face are not acceptable.

Plus, two of the following:

Current professional letter of reference on letterhead from your agency (can be attached to e-mail).
Current crew/call list on production company letterhead, and name and contact information of key/lead makeup artist and production head.
Current program with name credit with name and contact information of producer for the show.
Makeup Artistry diploma not more than 5 years from accredited program, and the name and contact information of an instructor or administrator from the program.

Please note that all necessary credentials are needed in order to process your application. Approval of all applications is subject to shu uemuras sole discretion. No discount is available unless and until your application is approved.
